You're right, they don't. But did they make one bit of effort to say "Er, it didn't really happen that way." So I can understand why people on FR are basher her for telling the truth as they want to believe the good stories the media tells them.

The only reason she's being bashed here is because it sounds like she's bashing the military. If I find out that she didn't really bash the military and the quotes were wrong then I'll take back my bashing and defend her again.
