I was "off" yesterday because of S'lapper's trip to the doc in another city.

All, things went really well (we hope), S'lapper didn't have a biopsy! The doc thinks the lesion can be treated with meds. We go back in 3 weeks for a follow-up. Thanks to all of you who were praying for a good outcome!

I wonder just how long ago he started planning this... Do you think it was before he met Amber?

IMHO, Amber was the catalyst. (Not her fault if she didn't know he was married.) But people can go along in a marriage for years/decades loving (or not) the person, but having "fallen out of love" (that infatuation feeling) and never replacing it with something stronger. I think he realized that Laci and Conner were 'in his way' when he became infatuated with Amber. He had a cushy life with Laci, he didn't have any reason to kill her until he found a replacement. JMO

I know there has been MUCH discussion about the duct tape. I work with it on a daily basis on the job, I always say that duct tap is my friend. But I always seem to have a problem with it sticking to itself when I don't want it to. It is by design, veeerry sticky stuff, and water tollerable. There MUST be some sort of print or fiber/hair transfer from the perp!!

I know when I use duct tape during a crime, rubber gloves are IMPOSSIBLE to work with!! J/K, but you get the point.

And the "walking" timeline took a another hit this week. All the "sightings" of Laci occur between 10 and 11am. SP told police that Laci was mopping the floor at 9:30 and when she finished doing that she would be going shopping for items for dinner that evening. He told police that Laci planned to walk the dog after shopping. We know how shopping wipes her out from the maid's testimony. One would not expect to see Laci walking the dog until, 1) the weather warmed up, 2) she made her trip to the grocery store, and 3) she sufficently recuperated from her trip to the store. She would not have gone walking until at least noon, given the testimony thusfar. Police never said she planned on walking at 10 or so, just that she was last seen at 9:30 and that she planned to walk the dog that day.

NOT GOING OFF on you specifically. She could have changed her mind on the order of when she would do her errands. It happens. Perhaps she decided to drop in on someone for a short visit on her way to the grocery store, but knew they wouldn't be home till afternoon? Everyone keeps saying, I wouldn't have done this in this situation, etc. Or SHE/HE said they were going to (play golf, do this or that) people change their minds...SP won't be convicted on that. There's much more.

But if he bought the insurance policy in the summer before he met Amber.....

Maybe he was just 'looking' for that catalyst.

Can't wait to see what all the other evidence is.

I forgot about that :( Bizarre... Maybe he had already met a different 'catalyst' . (I am donning flameproof suit) It doesn't seem that men (or women) just leave - even a loveless marriage, without BIG issues or an outside catalyst.... sort of a wake up call perhaps. JMO. Do you happen to recall if Laci knew about the policy?
