He has waived his right to a speedy trial already. Otherwise it would have gone to trial within 60 days.

Remember Westerfield did not waive his right and that case was the fastest murder case that probably any of us have ever known.

Don't you remember Peterson's performance while waiving his right to a speedy trial.? It was so pathetic, blaming the Prosecution for not turning over discovery. Well, he did make it a point of saying she was barefoot when she was last seen, mopping the floor.

Whenever I hear him mention that she was barefoot, I think of that sterotype of "barefoot, pregnant and in the kitchen".

That phrase seems like something that Scott would have in his mind for reference.

I myself have always thought that that was also a possibility in the OJ case.

I don't know how this happened.Money,bad decision made by prosecutors on lesser included offences,but I know if you cut up a body,flee get caught and flee,jumping bail, it sounds like murder to me.They said they didn't consider that at all

.The appearance of guilt is about all they have on Peterson so it concerns me.

Well, they still suspect Durst of two other murders. One of those is the "disappearance" of his wife a few years ago. Sound familiar?

You're right, so far there is no "OMIGOD" thing yet in this hearing. I am STILL hoping, though. One thing, they have a LOT of Scott's words, and that is something prosecutors usually don't have. They have tapes and tapes of him talking to Amber, and those TV interviews. Especially with the tapes of his conversations of Amber, I'm sure we're going to hear something that will be telling. This guy couldn't even fake grief when in public; I can only imagine what he'll sound like in conversations he thought were private.
