As far as I know, the federal government doesn't levy a property tax. What tax is it that the federal government levys that is unique to homeowners, that when increased causes them to lose their home? Again KB, we must use our words selectively.

The Federal govt levies quite a number of taxes beginning with the income tax. If you are a homeowner just because it isn't a direct tax on your property is irrelevent. Owning a home is expensive as it is and having to add on yet another cost through this tax will put many people under. Once again, let the poor EARN their own home instead of leaching off big daddy govt i.e. hard working taxpayers.
