And her path will be that much easier once they find Graham wrote the "Memo of Treason" recently. I thought the author was Jay Rockefeller. Or do you have some inside info on this?

Hope she has some very thick skin. From the picture at post #35, she sure seems to be doing okay in the soft skin department.
To: Tree of Liberty
Thanks Tree. She looks good to me with these ratings.
Abortion - RTL 100%
John Birch (where do they get this stuff) - 40%
Gun Owners of America (based on questionnaire) - C
NRA (based on her voting record) - A
Liberal (National Committee for an Effective Congress) - 0%

I want Harris to win as Senator just to see the pained look on Petah Jennings' face when he has to announce her as the winner.

But...but how will she be able to overcome a tough primary challenge by David Osbourne?
Or Larry Klayman.

Liberal (National Committee for an Effective Congress) - 0% That qualifies Harris in my eyes!

Second it's offensive to know that the distribution of our tax dollars has a priority on those of a specific skin color. Just as its wrong to discriminate against those who look different than us its wrong to reward them for that very same reason.
You have no factual basis upon which to make such an outlandish statement. More whites than minorities are on public assistance. More whites than minorities will qualifiy for this program. Your facts, if thats what they're called, are simply wrong.
P.S. I agree with your first statement, but I've gone beyond the useless dreaming that all welfare will be ended. The fight is in how it will be best used.
To: ClintonBeGone
KantianBurke would probably denounce the 19th Century Republican-backed Homestead Act as a liberal giveaway.

Rockefeller took ownership?

She's got my vote:
Wouldn't that be a slap in the face of the Democrats nationally and in Florida?

If you only need a "New York minute" to register in Florida, I'd vote for her too. At least, I could do is donate to the campaign.

Well, yes.
However, few except political junkies and those in her district know she's a member of Congress.
It's sort of like Geraldine Ferraro, if you forgive the comparison. She was a member of Congress for 8 years but she's always referred to as "1984 Vice Presidential Candidate Geraldine Ferraro" and not "Former New York Congresswoman Geraldine Ferraro."

I'll admit that my claim as to the bill being outwardly geared towards minorities was factually incorrect. However, as is the case with welfare and other govt giveaways, minorities have a far greater ratio of usage in terms of population than whites or asians. This bill was designed with that in mind.
If we really want to aid the disadvantaged in this country, be they black, whiote or whatever,we have to stop with the entitlements, shrink govt and let people keep more of their OWN money. Katherine Harris' bill does not do that.

Me too.
I prefer Daniel Webster though. Katherine Harris would be the most vulnerable candidate plus she has a safe seat where she can accrue seniority.
I doubt she'd want to go from safe and sure re-election to an iffy Senate run.

There's a big difference between the govt selling land to pioneers and the govt taking tax dollars from one group and handing it out to another. Those of us who don't obsess about Howard Stern would know that kiddo.

Like the way he looked when Danny Ortega and the Sandinistas were drop-kicked.
To: Sunshine Sister
"What was it?" Rep. Harris "proudly" sponsored the The American Dream Downpayment Act, a huge government giveaway program. It didn't take her long to get bitten by Potomac Fever.
To: KantianBurke
I agree with your last statement. I just hate to see her labled unfairly, when you can say what you said for just about any type of legislation aimed at the poor.
