I just sent the following FAX to Rockefeller (and thanks to Publius6961)

Dear Senator Rockefeller,

I am very disappointed with your lackadaisical attitude toward the partisan Memo that was apparently leaked from the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence. As Vice-Chairman, you sir should be outraged at the obvious attempt to destroy, for political gain, the bi-partisan relationships so essential to the proper functioning of that most important committee.

We are at war, sir, and paying lip service to the safety of our troops while undermining security clearly demonstrates a blatant disregard for national safety. I agree with Senator Zell Miller. If this action isn?t treason, it surely is treason?s first cousin. And it needs to be dealt with NOW.

It is clear that either you, one of your Democrat colleagues, or your staff was responsible for this outrage and you should insist that whoever it was be fired - immediately. If it was a Senator, he should be removed from the committee before he does further damage.

Stand up and be counted, Senator, and do your duty.
