There was one guy there that said, "Black people cannot be racist because they don't have power." This has got to be one of the most idiotic statements ever uttered by a human. Being racist has absolutely nothing to do with whether or not one has "power".

Here's an interesting way to counteract that: Find out what percentage of state workers are blacks. They are about 10% of the population, so if they are 20% or more, they have a lot more impact on how the state is run than whites do! If they say that's not so, tell them they're not doing their jobs! If you work for an organization, and you're good, you'll have influence.
As the most loyal representatives of public employee unions, blacks actually have quite a bit of political pull, and they should be called out on that early and often.

Months ago there was A liberal student white female guest on
Hannity & Colmes who was incensed that someone had printed
literature with the face of the famous Mumia, below that , the words, 'Cop Killer'. She insisted it was racist. When
H reminded her that this individual was, indeed, convicted of cop killing, and therefore by default, a cop killer, she stuttered and whimpered. She balked at H's referrences to black racism, actually being under the belief that racism only connotated white discrimination against black. She was on camera, but would not give her name.

"Black people cannot be racist because they don't have power." They believe this because it works: it janks on the cord of envy and has great emotive power in the service of political gain. Why is it racist to depict Jews complicit in the crucifixion of Jesus? Because they were not in power. Handy marxist tactic. Conservative variation: "compassionate conservatism."
