The fact that the libs are running better server software indicates a couple of things:

A. They have attracted younger, volunteer information services types to run their servers.

B. They use free software because they believe they should never have to pay for services, somebody should give it to them for free.

This just validates an old axiom I love to quote to old hippies:

"If a man is not Liberal as a youth, he doesn't have a heart.
If a man is not Conservative as an adult, he doesn't have a brain."

I run Linux not because I don't want to pay... but because I want the flexibility to do what I need to do in crafting services for our customers. I also enjoy the stability and security. That's what it comes down to.
