>>Still, Arafart's sworn determination to destroy Israel off the map
Isaiah 1:4
4 Ah, sinful nation,
a people loaded with guilt,
a brood of evildoers,
children given to corruption!
They have forsaken the LORD ;
they have spurned the Holy One of Israel
and turned their backs on him.
Isaiah 1:7
7 Your country is desolate,
your cities burned with fire;
your fields are being stripped by foreigners
right before you,
laid waste as when overthrown by strangers.
Who did God use to punish Israel?

Not arguing that.
Is this month that time?
God would STILL LIKELY ALSO punish those who did not stand up for or support His Close Friend's chosen kids (Abraham's).
He used Babylon to seriously punish . . . as well as using others to seriously punish Israel. And on at least one occasion, he punished the punishers because they were too ruthless with Israel.
Given God's priorities and sensibilities with respect to Israel, I'd far rather err on the side of being too much her friend and supporter instead of being too waffly and wimpish about it.
