First of all-Michael received 1.2 million not 700,000 from the medical malpractice suit. Secondly, he settled out of court with other parties on the law suit ($$$). Thirdly, the money was well invested and grew ($$$). Fourth and most important of all, Florida is a community property state. Half of everything Michael owns belongs to Terri ($$$). Fifth of all, Terri's family has income that is adequate. Lastly, the foundation has some money and so does the original foundation from 1992.

Maybe MS is afraid he will be required to show where all the money went. This to me appears to be a major reason why he would want her dead. He sqaundered her money and he knows it.
