I thought that you worked in a tall office building.
Maybe we can get escorts to lead the rats to your office window. Signs won't work, since most can't read.

Greenspan sided with President Bush and the Republicans, who argue that government spending should be cut to deal with the deficit rather than raising taxes.Yeah... cut government spending by starting a new "free drugs" benifit that will ballon out of control. That's the ticket...

OK .. what does that mean?
(I think this picture should be the proper response to questions of "what does TDIDS mean?"

TAX INCREASES WOULD DESTROY THE RECOVERY!
Not a chance. They played a recording of Dick Gebhart (on Rush's show) saying that the economy is up because of the Democrat induced tax-cuts!
I kid you not.

They can always feel their way - Clinton did! ;-)

I thought the tax cuts were the PROBLEM with the economy (even before they went into effect somehow) because they're causing the budget deficit which is harming the economy. We need a tax INCREASE don't we? Apparently the tax cuts are turning the economy around and are the PROBLEM at the same time.

My list is for economic issues without a heavy focus on the stiock market. I try to cover all viewpoints posted on Free Republic regardless of my agreement with the thread for my pings. If something in the article gets me irritated enough I will comment.

I have three different ping lists. One for economic/stock market threads, one for threads about political philosophy/Constitutional principles, and one for technical/scientitic news. Would you like to be on one of them? |

Humourous if sad to read the clueless posts on the thread.
I do notice that Greenspan rarely lies except by omission. Makes the tealeaf reading easier in a way, but always have to wait "for the other shoe to drop".
The current worldwide and unprecedented "liquidity" expansion appears to have met at least the minimal political goals set for it. Money sure isn't what it used to be!!
