And those were the *only* two, of the nine, Justices appointed by a Democrat. Of the rest, one was by Nixon, one by Ford, three by Reagan, and two by Bush I. Chief Justice Rhenquist, appointed by Nixon, was elevated to Chief Justice by Reagan. I'd hardly say that having 2 of 9 appointees makes it "Clinton's Court".
It ought to be about as strict constructionist as any court could be, but it's not. Must be something in the water in DC?
