We had a similar group of idiots on my high school football team way back when. We'd turned in a poor showing the first two or three games which apparently embarrassed these guys, & rather than to assess their own skills, they employed the same tactics as the kids at Woodside to begin degenerating our coach.

One day after practice the coach called us together & basically offered the group's leader the chance to back up his talk with action.

Humiliated, the kid & his gang quit the team. As it turned out, their leaving saved our season. There's simply no way to win with whiners like that around.

IMHO, the got what they deserved!
