how much wood could each woodchuck chuck a day, if a woodchuck could chuck wood?My daddy always told me "he would chuck what a woodchuck chucks...if a woodchuck could chuck wood." (but I never knew how much that would be. LOL)

I just heard the Dean quote a few minutes ago on Rush. I nearly went through the roof! As if his comments last week regarding the Confederate flag weren't bad enough. Can someone please sit this this....DemocRAT *snake down and inform him unequivocally that: we here in the South have principles and standards that don't change to suit every passing whim especially those espoused by morally bankrupt politicians.
*Disclaimer: No actual snakes were harmed in the development of this post. No offense was intended to any member of the snake family and apologize if any was taken.

The graphic presentation is outstanding, Billie. Always enjoy a visit to your profile page to view your handiwork.
Now I must go re-gain my composure. The laughter brought on by this essay has left a smile on my face (not to be confused with the goofy grin of Dean). For the first part of your post - you put a smile on my face. :)
But I have to agree - John is always funny - sometimes it's so hard not to laugh out loud reading his essays. (As for the "Got it/don't got it" graphic, it just sorta evolved after collecting those pictures of the candidates!)

Gail, thank you. I wrote Donaeus earlier that I think I did send those originals to the Reagans. (either that or they were in those I donated to a Silent Auction Republican Fundraiser in Dallas two or three years ago)

You two may get a kick out of this. LOL! I was putting the links on the post for tomorrow, and copied them from today's, which I was also going to just copy the topper from, too!
Ahem! There IS NO TOPPER TODAY! LOL! I forgot to copy and paste it onto the posting form!
I know I can trust you not to squeal on me to T Man. :)

Have you had snow yet? A 'dusting' so far. About 2 inches, that melted almost as fast as it fell. I had a trip up to northern MN yesterday, and there is about 4" on the ground.

My sister and her family lived in Minneapolis-St.Paul several years ago, and being 'from' the Southwest, several inches of snow on the ground all winter long was something hard for them to get used to. (I'm pretty sure I wouldn't 'want' to get used to not seeing the ground for months at a time.) :(

My mind is drawing a blank I know I forgot to ping someone. I have not sat down since Sunday morning. Now my company comes in an hour. As soon as I get them to bed, I hope to get in here and read this thread. John always does a good job and has my taste in humor. LOL
Calpernia!!!!! We got to watch our caterpillar cacoon today. It was one of the most amazing things I had ever seen. He's a part of the family now. I almost cried and Ally thought I was crazy, but it was just so beautiful and amazing. I was in awe.
OK, gotta get dinner ready.

Hi again Billie. Remember when I did that too? And it was JohnH day also! I was so upset until you told me to "just pretend" it was deliberate LOL!
BTW...I think your graphic will get a lot of use as this election progresses...These people are LOSERS with a capital L!
Have to leave for a banquet...(4-H recognition...sigh...the joys of being a politician's wife) Hope to stop back later.
To: dutchess
LOL! Yes, I remember when you left it off, too (and I 'think' Aqua did once)
The Candidates' graphic won't look as good on its own, because it will have the coin background, but anyone is certainly welcome to use it. :)
Enjoy the banquet tonight - what kind of chicken are they serving? (Don't banquets ALWAYS serve chicken!)
