I just read that performance, Scott's message to Laci, to my husband. He asked me, Did he say "I'll see you in a bit?" or "I'll see you in a boat?"

It's up now! And maggiefluffs kindly provided a link!

This is really weird, about the swabs. I finally read the testimony and what Brocchini said was that he sent the swabs for testing, but as far as he knew, the results weren't back. I guess, since he wasn't on the edge of his seat waiting, that must mean that they do not think the gun was the murder weapon.
Heard that the gun was missing its grips, and that it "dry-fired" last time Scott said he tried to use it. Don't know what dry-firing is. Sounds like the gun doesn't work too well.
I just had to laugh when I saw JANIE WEINTRAUB defending Scott's owning of a gun on TV last night! It's so hilarious to see such an obvious liberal saying something like, "so he owned a gun, no big deal!"

Cyn, in the Westerfield case (I'm tiptoing here - lol), didn't they have records that indicated the time and probable place for every phone call he made that weekend?
I'd think they could easily ascertain the reliability of Scott's words in his messages, especially when he was saying what time it was and where he was calling from.
I almost puke when I see or hear those words in his message to Laci. I wonder if Sharon would step aside and let me have have just one swing at him....

YES! I'm glad you said that, maggiefluffs! Yes, they said there was a Louis Vuitton wallet in the purse! It's in Brocchini's testimony, Vel.
And then Brocchini and McAllister go on about how neither of them knew what that meant, or who Louis Vuitton was.
And I was thinking, what was a Louis Vuitton wallet doing in her purse? I thought he had given her one for Christmas??
Maybe she then would've had TWO? And if she already had one, and then he gave her one for Christmas, doesn't sound like he gave her a very exciting Christmas gift.

We'll see how many "hey beautiful(s)" are on the Amber tapes...I suspect this is a generic term for his women...

Yes, I was thinking of the Westerfield case tracking cell phone receiving towers or whatever they are, and they explained how if you are at point A it is most likely a certain tower was the transmitter. I do recall them saying most likely, though.
As to the message left for Laci, may I say it is a pleasure to be in perfect agreement with you!
I wonder what the home machine message said. They did not testify to that yet. Could be same or similar...
To: Jackie-O
I love it when there's a record...
:)

Sandy, my prayers and best wishes are with you and your husband. I know from similar experience that the waiting is often the hardest part. Please email me privately if you ever want to just unload some stress. Sometimes that helps.

I feel sick reading that. Considering the woman he'd been shagging, not to mention what Snott had just done to Laci and the condition Laci was found in, calling her "Beautiful" is an additional slap in the face to her loved ones.

Oh, dear...

Hmm, you may be right, unless he's swinging both ways these days. People like him more than likely will do anything for a thrill.

Thanks Maggie, got it! So if Laci already had a Louis Vuitton wallet, does this mean that Snott didn't even think of buying her a Christmas present? Not even an "alibi" present? Arrrgh.

He also sent e-mails before and after the fishing trip, so the power was working then.
Tried selling his fertilizer to everyone from the git go. Creep.

I have to sit on my hands when watching Janie Weintraub, cause she makes me want to throw things at the TV.
To: Velveeta
I usuall put on mute or change channels when Weintraub come on. Her laughing and smirking when talking about Laci gives me the creeps. Reminds me of someone not quite normal.

That was my same thought. I know Scott said he got her one. Did he not expect the question from Diane Sawyer. Maybe he got her the wallet the year before. Another lie??
I wonder if the police or Laci's family know if there really was a new wallet. I think they do. They mention this conversation at
http://www.lacipeterson.com/whatshappening/page08.html I bet they know it is a lie.

Did he say "I'll see you in a bit?" or "I'll see you in a boat?" Good one.
What bothers me is the part where Scotty saids; I was hoping you would get this message and go on out there.
It is past tense, and not the way you would leave a "real" message. Wouldn't you say, "I hope you get this message before Vella Farms closes. If you do, can you pick up the basket for "papa".

It makes me sick too.
The use of the word "beautiful" reminds me of his use of the word "glorious" to describe his marriage to Laci.

Of course, maybe he wanted to be placed at 2:15 in Berkely "far from home where she 'disappeared'" thinking the bodies would never be found I agree. He thought that by letting the dog out with the leash, nobody would question him. He never thought those bodies would surface.
