When I heard the report from Beth Karas, there were two items she mentioned,I wanted verification from other posters on. The first was the Dec. 9th date.In which Beth Karas said,Amber confronted Scott with the fact he was married. To which Scott responded he was a widower.(Thanks Cyncooper for verifing that) The 2nd point was that there was a bullet missing from the semi-automatic and that is what prompted LE to approach Scott about testing for residue.

I suspect we may have to wait for the transcripts to verify if in fact there was a bullet missing from the semi-automatic.

"Scott Peterson might have had up to six extramarital flings, and defense lawyers will use his alleged bed-hopping to debunk claims he killed his wife to be with gal pal Amber Frey, sources told The Post."

Uh huh........;)

>>If he shot her, and we're trying to figure out where, don't forget he travelled about 90 miles,<<

He could have shot her anywhere between Modesto and the Bay. I'm more interested in where he shot her body. I suspect it was in the head and wonder if that is a reason why the head is missing...

Children's books???

There must be some sort of donor drop-off for the Children's Hospital there. If Scott left valuable jewelry mixed in with something that looked like a donation, he took a risk that the wrong person might pick it up and that Amber wouldn't get it.

Oh, wait... that was probably the plan...

I know that Discovery rules dictate they turn it all over but let's not forget Geragos has been kinda busy with another murder trial. Wonder if he hasn't looked at or read everything yet. I have NO DOUBT this Prosecution team would not blow their own case by disobeying basic rules.

>>I just heard that "sources say" that the jewelry was costume jewelry, not Laci's. (CTV)<<

I heard that, too, and it makes sense with what is known about Snott. Why waste expensive jewelry on Amber when she'd be as likely to be happy with costume stuff. Snott would want to eventually pawn the expensive stuff and use the money for himself IMO.

My understanding is that soap and water will not remove gun residue.

Thanks all for posting all of the news today!
Remember the mention of a witness way back when..that said that she saw Snott up in the Fresno area with a brunette in the truck that looked like she was asleep?? And with the reports of the GHB...I'm thinking he may have drugged her at home, took her elsewhere to shoot her and get her ready to dump in the bay. Does anyone remember what date and time of day the woman said she saw him? I'm thinking that he had to have done anything like I have suggested under the cover of night, possibly in a rual area. He did have much knowledge of farming areas, being the fertilizer salesman he is, yes?

Thanks!!!

Expired fishing license!

I would also like to add that we should remember Scott's touching story, put out by his minions, that he first learned Laci and Connor had been found while riding back to Modesto, under arrest, in a police car.

The bodies had been found DAYS earlier. WE all knew, at the time Scott was riding in that police car, that the bodies had been found!

If WE were following the story enough to notice "Laci Peterson Update" every time it came on the TV or radio, why wasn't the HUSBAND/FATHER of these missing persons also paying attention to the breaking TV/radio news about their discovery during those few days b/f he was arrested??

I don't think we've heard from or about what Amber's detective friend discovered about Snott yet.

I'm going to wait for the transcripts! I've been watching off and on either Fox or Court TV all afternoon, and am getting conflicting reports, although some of the info seems to be fact.

"He has a sexual problem and has a need to sleep with other women," the relative told Fox.

Sounds like a fitting way to engrave his tombstone.

Your brain isn't missing a thing! Scott's story is that he left home 9:30 a.m., went to his warehouse, did a little work, loaded up the boat and headed for Berkeley, arriving about noon (a 90-mile drive, of course), fished, then got out of the water and drove back home, arriving about 4:30 p.m. And that he then hung around the house, calling around to find Laci, that he called Sharon about 5:00, saying Laci was missing, and after that... police, neighbors, family--no time for a trip to the warehouse after that.

If his story is true, he couldn't have seen the fax around the time it came in.

It also doesn't make sense, since we heard a long time ago that his story to Amber was that he "lost" his wife in early December of 2001! Which would make 2002 his second Christmas without his wife.
