Excellent post. What's weird about Hitchens is that he's so alone on the left in recognizing the problem. All the other crap endorsed by the left, in general and especially the decadence, enrages the jihadis against the West.

Well, Hitch couldn't abide the moral equivalency crowd over at The Nation, and took his leave of them. Some socialists actually value Western Civilization.

Hitchens is one of them.
