'Sen. Jay Rockefeller (D-W.Va.), the top Intelligence Committee Democrat, tried to focus on the leak of the memo, claiming it was taken from a waste bucket or through unauthorized computer access.'

What difference does that make? The whole issue is the content of the memo, NOT the method by which it was leaked. Rockefeller's comments are simply a red herring to try and distract us from the content of the memo itself.
