Vast oil reserves, huge manufacturing base, (formally ours anyway), natural resources out the ying-yang, and investment possibilities to numerous to post. Remember the boost to the economy when the Alaska oil pipeline was constructed? We'd see reverse migration. And we'd have a smaller Southern border to defend.
