It's hard evidence that someone on the supposedly **impartial fact finding comittee** is in advance planning to "get Bush." Not evaluating the failure and planning to put measures in place that will safeguard America in the future to prevent intelligence failure, but planning to make all evidence fall in the right way to try and hurt the political chances of the GOP and the President.

Your reply was so succinct I had to post it again. Very well stated.

And, of course, why didn't Clinton have to get U.N. approval for that bombing?

The administration is not saying this directly, because Intelligence is SUPPOSED to be SEPERATE from the administration and NON-PARTISAN in order to protect the integrity of the data gathered and it's embarrassing, but intelligence "gathered" during the Clinton admin was indeed used to estimate the progression and actual level of Saddam's weapons programs.

Clinton admin intelligence was only a SMALL part of the mix, but it was poured in after only cursery inspection and stirred in with the rest in order to complete the concatenation process and arrive at an answer. This is how it's supposed to be done, but...uh...well...it was an obvious mistake.

Mentioning way back when that the data may be skewed because of the type of people who started making the "sexed-up" charges, and needs to be examined because those people should have had any understanding of the ingredients added to the process, only earns you a tinfoil hat award rather than serious consideration. It's a gut instinct thing. In retrospect, it seems that the people calling for careful reexamination of that data were right.

"RUSH will be back November 17th."

I'm taking that as tentative, but pray he's able to get back to work full time then. I promised Rush in an email of support and his advertisers in a similar one that I would continue to listen to his show while he was gone. I do my best to keep that promise, when I'm actually in a position to listen to the show. I love those updates by David Limbaugh. I can't wait for Rush to beat this monster and get back on air.

Sorry about starting out with "sorry". I was really directing it to the Democrat claim of what this memo shows - not your points.

So, the Democrats lied? We're suppose ignore it and to start at the Bush election rather than ask them where they got their info??

Oh, ok. That makes sense. Sorry 'bout that - I'm easily confused.

Yep, that's the plan in a nutshell.

Sean says he has it on good authority that the memo came directly from Rockefeller, was written at his instigation.

Sen Hatch says that Rockefeller is a good guy but should be 'criticized' if it's found that he was the source of this memo. These beltway boys sure do know how to play the good-old-boy game... Even when our troops lives are put between them.

I would not call for a senate ethics investigation of this incident (since that would be more of the good-old-boy games). I would think that the justice department should be re-reading title 18 of the US Code to see if any laws were recently broken by one Sen Rockefeller......

Why don't you send a letter, your's might be the one that puts the final crack in the dam and causes something to happen.

"Do nothing" people are the reason that we see the people in DC "doing nothing"
