There's not much difference between Michael Schiavo and Scott Peterson. Except Scott elected to kill his wife the quick way, and Michael elected to do it inch-by-inch.

Both had girlfriends waiting in the wings.

Both are egomaniacal sociopaths.

The only difference is that Scott will go on trial and probably be convicted.

Michael Schiavo will go on to write a book and make a "Movie-of-the-Week".

But some day, Scott and Michael will meet in Hell!

I think Schiavo will be in hot water. The tide is turning against him. He is going from low tide to a tsunami flood!

The civil liability is huge. The criminal liability is there. Maybe smaller, but we will see what happens WHEN Schiavo is stripped of his guardianship and her medical records are examined. I see battery charges at the least and attempted murder at the most.
