>> I bet neither Jodi nor mother-in-law to-be Eleanor are pleased tonight.

I keep wondering how much they look over their shoulder. There is an old saying -- and every woman understands it -- that if he'll cheat WITH you, he'll cheat ON you. Let's take that another step: If he bumps off his wife to marry YOU, how do you know he won't bump you off for his next girl friend?

Jodi can rationalize the adultery, perhaps. But can she dismiss all doubts about Michael's probable beating of Terri... possible attempted strangulation... and now openly lethal intentions toward the woman who is still his wife?

If I were she, I'd get the heck out of Dodge.

It's a little late to tell Jodi to get the heck out of St. Petersburg. She just had another child and is "in love." She is waiting for a formal Catholic wedding. And she has the house, vehicle, etc. in her name to make sure the groom comes through. Remember too that Schiavo has dehydrated and starved both parents already too. But Jodi knows that would never happen to her!

According to other threads, Michael's been putting his money and assets in Jodi's name. Who says she's actually going to marry him? What if she instead decides to start singing like a canary and make him the fall guy after he gave her so much stuff?

Good points. I know that little outrages me more than getting "asked out" by men I know to be married. If anything, I'd have an even lower opinion of a man who would do that if I knew he had a disabled wife. And if I was seeing someone who had "rumors" of wife abuse swirling around them like Michael does, I'd be doing some deep thinking. Can't say that I ever had that problem though. I must have an invisible sign that speaks to the "invisible" abuser that says, "don't even think about it!"
