Why would George W. Greer have a "change of heart" when he has long wanted Terri starved and dehydrated? I think the action today is a stunt to make us feel that Terri is no longer in immediate danger. Greer probably hopes that we will stop our actions to save Terri at the frantic pace so many have followed now for many weeks.

Let's hope Greer is trying to get rid of the case, make it go away, like Lady Macbeth when she tried to remove "that damned spot." Let's hope George W. Greer is telling George J. Felos, "Sometimes, George, friendship just asks too much! I am folding while I still can with some face."

I think Greer is doing this to save his . I think he KNOWS that he is on the virge of an impeachable and imprisonable offense even for a judge here.
