Where were you? I've been doing some research into the NC mountains where my ancestors were from. I had always heard they were pro-union up there but I've also heard there has been a book or two out lately that contradicts that. All my ancestors and relatives except one or two fought for the Confederacy. The ones that fought for the other side we just don't talk about ;)

Now and then Freepers post photos from gay pride parades to invite funny captions. The costumes that the paraders put on are some of the most bizarre -- and hilarious -- I've ever set eyes on.

Then I noticed something. There's always a Howard Dean contingent at those parades. He's their guy. I went back over some of the collected photos and did not find support for any other candidate. For the freak vote, it's all Howard Dean.

Now we hear that the same Howard Dean is wooing Good Ol' Boys with confederate flags on their trucks and gun racks in the back of the cab. It's a frightening alliance. Can you see the new metrosexual Good Ol' Redneck Boys getting out their leather jockstraps, pink wigs and confederate flags to march side by side down the main street of Valdosta with their gay pride brethren, the dykes on bikes and the rest of the freak Left?
