Is anyone listening to Hannity? He just read a memo from a dem party staffer (i think) on the select committe on intelligence (or some such), which, as he describes it, shows the the dem committe members are pre-planning a political assault on the pres. and care nothing for our security, which is their job.
He's acting like this is the hottest scoop since I don't know what, I'm at work so I'm only 1/2 listening, plus he read the whole thing which seemed to be a least 2 pages long, a little tough to follow being in beaurocrat-speak.
Is this really important? And will this story grow legs?

From the intelligence committee! The people who are suppose to protect America, not eliminate a sitting president! Shocking, IMHO!

Sean is saying that no-one will EVER guess who gave him the memo, but the source is reliable and connected to the committee.<conspiracy>Hillary leaked it to Sean, to insure the RATS go down in flames in 2004, thus allowing her to grab the 2008 presidential nomination without even having to try.</conspiracy>

What SHOCKS me is that NO ONE reads the part of the memo that states catagorically that NO MATTER what the outcome of the investigation is, THE DEMOCRATS, will BLAME the Republicans for a UNFAIR investigation and demand an "INDEPENDENT INVESTIGATION". In other words THE PRESENT investigation MATTERS NOT ONE WIT!! Unfortunately this story will ONLY have legs if Sean Hannity HAS MORE than he is letting on that he knows.
***Bingo*** Thank you for clearly stating the evil intention of the dems. Guess this could be called Outcome Based Intelligence Leaking (OBIL).

I would wait a day or two and see where it goesWe won't even be talking about it in two days from now. This story is DOA since it will not get more than one day of coverage, if that, from the liberal media. This is just politics as usual in Washington.
To: Timesink
I think it has Clinton and McCauliffe written all over it but not that they leaked it. I think they are getting their info from a dem or staffer on the committee. Just think how many dems think that Clinton walks on water. If Joe Q public is any indication, the whole party is drinking their kool aid except Zell Miller.....

What surprises me most in this is that this memo even exists.
Why was this plan written down? I mean, this is so standard politics that you'd think this plan would be carried out by instinct, or at most with a wink and a nod in the Capitol hallways. Why did someone feel compelled to write it out and leave an undeniable record? What, Feinstein wouldn't have known to follow this path without a memo?
I'd think it was faked if people in power weren't reacting to it so seriously.
It's just too perfect a smoking gun. I mean, it points to what everyone knows, but you get such obvious documentation.

2004 is going to be a long, frustrating, and busy year. The liberals will not miss one dirty trick in their scummy playbook. Everyone needs to get plenty of rest, enjoy the holidays, and be ready for one hell of a battle after the first of the year.

I think you are wrong. Right now, Conservatives have the media on the run. This could work in our favor. They might cover it as a way of appearing "fair and balanced". I dont know, but I have a feeling this is just the beginning.
