Is anyone listening to Hannity? He just read a memo from a dem party staffer (i think) on the select committe on intelligence (or some such), which, as he describes it, shows the the dem committe members are pre-planning a political assault on the pres. and care nothing for our security, which is their job.
He's acting like this is the hottest scoop since I don't know what, I'm at work so I'm only 1/2 listening, plus he read the whole thing which seemed to be a least 2 pages long, a little tough to follow being in beaurocrat-speak.
Is this really important? And will this story grow legs?

I have been trying to follow this while babysitting. Am home now and just heard Brit Hume covering this. Looks like Fox isn't going to let it die.
Good!
To: Dog
Someone took it from his waste basket.. Says a staffer or someone got the memo either from wastebasket or unauthorized use of computer.

Rockefeller didn't ID the office the memo came from or who wrote it. Gee, I wonder why?
To: prairiebreeze
Rockefeller is saying that it is from low staff members who took it from wastebasket and it wasn't approved by the Dims! Rockefeller's already blaming underlings.
To: Maelstrom
I've just started reading, so it may already be posted. I heard it was on Newsmax.

Saying Rockefeller is saying that if is from low staff members who took it from wastebasket and it wasn't approved by the Dims! Now WHY would a low level staffer be typing up suggestions on how the Dems should attack Bush

Saying Rockefeller is saying that if is from low staff members who took it from wastebasket and it wasn't approved by the Dims! The Dems obvioulsy wrote it. Sean has the memo header. He also says HE got it from a very, very, very reliable source.
To: tgslTakoma
All the Dem talking points, memo's., etc are from the WASTEBASKET!
To: Dog
Whoa, whoa, cowboy. He said it was written by 'Staff'. He did not say WHICH staff. Dont think for a moment that the Dems did not take a moment to get their act together before Rockefeller issued his statement.

The full memo mentions waiting until sometime "next year" to push the Independent Counsel, obviously in reference to an election year. I don't see anything necessarily illegal here, just unethical and this could blow up in their faces. Those whom the gods would destroy, they first make mad.

"The Democrats are selling out our country - AGAIN! - just to win an election." You seem surprised.

DASCHLE'S ALREADY DISAPPOINTED THAT CBS PULLED THE PLUG ON THE REAGANS rofl!
To: tgslTakoma
I think whoever leaked this to Sean was a Dem. Hannity said we'd never believe who the source is. Gee, wonder how the Dems feel. There may be a traitor in their ranks. How fitting.

Ran to the TV too late. What did Brit say about the memo?
To: Pukin Dog
Heretofore, never fully appreciated what a dolt Jay is. Hahahahaha.

Hi, I'm wondering, how long have you been on FR. I'm not sure how to look up such things but the way you post, it just seems a little odd that you would chime in on this issue as you have.
What makes me suspect of your status - and your comments - is your use of language. Generally, FReepers get their point across without inserting profanity and understand it is not welcomed.
In other words, are you a FReeper or is there some other motivation at play in your dismissal of the significance of the memo Sean is reading from?

I recall that in the past two weeks or so, there was a meeting between European liberals and those in the U.S... Hillary was one of them. The gist of the news article was that they were meeting to coordinate ways to make their message heard.
