Is anyone listening to Hannity? He just read a memo from a dem party staffer (i think) on the select committe on intelligence (or some such), which, as he describes it, shows the the dem committe members are pre-planning a political assault on the pres. and care nothing for our security, which is their job.
He's acting like this is the hottest scoop since I don't know what, I'm at work so I'm only 1/2 listening, plus he read the whole thing which seemed to be a least 2 pages long, a little tough to follow being in beaurocrat-speak.
Is this really important? And will this story grow legs?

I think this is by far the most telling part of this whole memo.
"SUMMARY: Intelligence issues are clearly secondary to the public's concern regarding the insurgency in Iraq. Yet we have an important role to play in revealing the misleading, if not flagrantly dishonest, methods and motives of senior administration officials who made the case for unilateral preemptive war.

Hannity just said there will be a Senator resigning from office because of this. Hmmmmm.

I love David, and his son is in the military. God bless both of them, and, in fact, the entire Asman family.
Did you just hear Sean say that he thinks this may very well end in a Senator's resignation?
Not good enough, PROSECUTION is what we'll demand, right?

If someone has to resign because of this please let it be Dick Dirtbag of Illinois.
To: truthkeeper
I guarantee its Sen. Bayh...
He's been telling his fellow Democrats to shut the f up for a long time now and he might have had enough.
He should be a Republican... although I'm not sure about his other political stances.
To: mewzilla
I can just imagine the shredding/erasing/purging that is going on right now. That's what I'm afraid of, too. I hope Drudge gets this up on his site very soon..that would help to keep this alive and it MUST be kept alive. We on FR must make sure of that. The RATS are traitors to this country - it's all about politics for them; all about power. What about the safety of this country? They need to be held accountable. Those that say this is no big deal are wrong...dead wrong.

Damn.. you beat me to it.

You folks attacking Roberts, just WHAT THE HELL DO YOU EXPECT HIM TO SAY ON A NATIONAL TALK SHOW, 5 MINUTES AFTER GETTING THIS INFORMATION?
If he in fact knew about it, and it did come from the Select Intelligence Committee, I expect him to say something like "Yes Sean, I'm both aware of the memo and it's author and it is exactly what you portray it to be. Therefore, tomorrow effective at noon Washington DC time, I will tender my resignation from the committee and cooperate fully with any pending criminal investigations in this matter.".
But that would take balls, so I guess I'm just dreaming.

Sean has forced their hand and he has a TV show and his radio show to make them do their duty.Guess I will be watching Hannity and Colmes tonight. Poor alan will be in a VERY BAD mood.....

I agree! Someone in the Gimmie ranks is SICK of the EXTREME LEFT direction his/her party has taken. Quick, does anyone know...is Zell Miller on the committee?
To: truthkeeper
Hasn't Zell Miller been on Hannity's show very recently?

Not good enough, PROSECUTION is what we'll demand, right? If we take national security seriously we will. This has implications far beyond the political. Just think about it. If they can convince themselves that it's okay to do this while we're at war, what else would they be capable of? Or susceptible to?
To: mewzilla
Oh so now it's a guessing game?
This is SERIOUS if true, and should not be reduced to us sitting here trying to deduce who the informant is.

No Zell is not on the committee but GA's other Senator Saxby Chambliss is.
To: KarlInOhio
Maybe DeWine? The dems accidentally confused him with on of their own. < /sarcasm> *snicker* I get it, Karl. Is it true he sees John Glenn when he looks in the mirror? :-)

*Sean: "I have a pretty good idea who did this...we may see a Senator resigning as a result of this."*
Let's hope that the senator is from a state with a Republican governor.
To: Pukin Dog
We now know why he is not running for office again.Neither is Edwards, and he is still on the committee...
