Smells like Hillary. Chairman says it's an ethics violation.
To: Mo1
Sean is nailing him --- mentioning FBI, ethics committee (what a waste) --- Roberts said he's going to first check with Sen Rockefeller ( another total waste of time).
Sean said this could be a smoking gun! Well, DUH

Committee Chairman Senator Pat Roberts is on Sean's show right now. Said he was "stunned," and that "this is very serious."
Hannity asks if it is proven that this memo came from a RAT member of the committee, "Should they be removed?" Roberts: "That's a bridge we'll have to cross when we come to it."
He said the reason he's on with Sean right now is because his phone started ringing off the hook and he was told by another member that he'd better get on with Sean to clear the air. Roberts says he doesn't know who wrote the memo, but got his copy from another committee member.
Roberts sounds nervous and weak to me. He is being far, FAR too nice to these people. Sean is far more irate and keeps trying to nail Roberts on this. Sean asks for all e-mails and computers to be locked and all committee members to be interviewed ASAP. Roberts: "We'll have to make a thorough check on this...I've got to check with Senator Rockefeller first."
Yikes.

The democrats potentially illegal actions aside...
Could it be that there is some kind of info that is damaging to the President or are they making plans for potential info down the road.
I'm confused.

My intuition, which is pretty good, tells me that this is a big one. This could be on the order of the State Democrats in California this year caught on a squawkbox planning to hurt the taxpayers. They were caught plotting to delay the constitutionally-mandated budget in order to scare the voters into supporting a proposition to reduce the 2/3 majority vote requirement for budgets into simple majority. After the news broke of the secret meeting, the CA legislature passed the budget the next day.

This won't be reported on the rat media, and Sen. Roberts won't do anything about it, because the republican senators, by and large, don't care if the rats get their way or not.

This will result in absolutely NOTHING. Why? The news MEDIA will pooh pooh this as so much balderdash. I HOPE Hannity is correct and that this blossoms into something HUGE. I go back to what I always say. The Gimmies know HOW to play HARDBALL, the Republicans DO NOT!! Time will tell!!

Roberts denies it's a memo from select intell. comm.
Oh, this should be good...
Sean counters and says his copy came directly from a member of the Intel Committee. Roberts goes, hmmmmm...

Yes, and he barely survived it.
This is a coordinated attack on the administration by those who stand to lose BILLIONS of dollars in Iraq, assisted by our own Democrat party that stands to lose political power for a generation.

This is the time for BALLS --- Sean has forced their hand and he has a TV show and his radio show to make them do their duty.
I agree. I want our GOP elected guys to act like MEN, not 'gentlemen.'

Let's see, what other shenanigans have the Congressional Democrats been up to of late?
During the Estrada late-night debate, didn't a Senator start waving around protected documents that he wasn't supposed to have?
During the Texas redistricting, didn't a congressman have a map that was stolen from another congressman's briefcase? (maybe that was TX state Democrats)

The FBI needs to be called in. Pronto.
To: Ragtime Cowgirl
You point is well taken and shows that the MEDIA won't run with this and that the Republicans do NOT know how to FIGHT BACK. This will be a ONE DAY story and then only on FR. Hope I am wrong!
