In June 1942, a c-47's pilots and crew flying a training mission from P-cola to Baimbridge, had a cigar airplane fly along side. The crews of both waved at each other. When pilots filed their report, everyone on the plane was locked down for two days and visited by Army Int and told not to speak of it, as it was a secret airplane. So none of them did for 43 years.

FASCINATING.
That's one of the earliest if not earliest dates I've read of such.
THANKS.
Any elaborations on their treatment during lockdown?
