Brian Williams of NBC and CNBC found that morale is not lagging amongst those who have suffered the most devastating wounds in Iraq in which they have lost limbs. After a Friday night, October 31 piece he narrated about soldiers in the amputee ward at the Armys Walter Reed Hospital in Washington, DC, Williams used nearly identical language on CNBCs The News with Brian Williams and the NBC Nightly News to assert that you wont find any anti-war sentiments among the wounded as he conveyed what he learned about their attitude. The CNBC version caught by the MRCs Brad Wilmouth:
If you're looking for anti-war sentiment, you won't find it on Ward 57 at Walter Reed. These men with catastrophic wounds are, to a man, completely behind the war effort. In fact, many of them want to go back. They miss their units and they miss their buddies. It is hard to look at their wounds. It is impossible not to admire their bravery."
Indeed.

It's because these young men understand that their wives, daughters, mothers, fathers, brothers, uncles and cousins are under attack back home!
They prefer to take the fight TO the enemy, not sit back and wait for him to Nuke us.

I cannot, for the life of me, understand your comment. It would have been quite easy for Williams to have left off that portion of the story, but he felt that it was important enough to put in - the guys, while wounded, would go back and fight some more because they believe in what they're doing.
It is abhorent to me that you found the story a "POS."

Looks like he is just trolling for a quagmire....what a POS. Yeah, but you have to give him some credit for not just not reporting it.
