I know there are a lot of Freepers who are very angry about illegal immigrants. But we need to find a real solution, and not forget the human factor. Protecting our country should be paramount, but there has got to be a simple way to identify, document and legalize a lot of people who are currently here illegally, and also to revamp our immigration system and policies to make it easier for decent people to come here and work.

Visit a city like NYC sometime, and you will begin to understand what an opportunity Republicans have to recruit life-long loyal members who came here has immigrants.

Boy paulklenk, have you been brain-washed. America allows and has more immigration than the rest of the world combined. Just because you get a job does not make you a “Good Immigrants.” Illegals start off breaking the law. Why do you think that they won’t break more? I am sick and tired of having to “press one for English,” and for seeing Mexican flags flown in our parks. WE ARE BEING INVADED BY MEXICO! WE HAVE A RIGHT FOR NATIONAL SOVEREIGNTY, AND TO DO WHAT MEXICO DOES, PUT THE MILITARY ON THE SOUTHERN BORDER AND KICK OUT ALL ILLEGAL (CRIMINAL) ALIENS.

Why? By definition they're here illegally and hence criminals

People from other nations are allowed into this country by operation of law.

When they violate law to get here and/or stay here, they are not "immigrants", they are illegal migrants and nothing more nor less than that.

To provide for organizing, arming, and disciplining, the Militia, and for governing such Part of them as may be employed in the Service of the United States, reserving to the States respectively, the Appointment of the Officers, and the Authority of training the Militia according to the discipline prescribed by Congress;

To exercise exclusive Legislation in all Cases whatsoever, over such District (not exceeding ten Miles square) as may, by Cession of particular States, and the Acceptance of Congress, become the Seat of the Government of the United States, and to exercise like Authority over all Places purchased by the Consent of the Legislature of the State in which the Same shall be, for the Erection of Forts, Magazines, Arsenals, dock-Yards, and other needful Buildings;--And

Immigrate to this nation according to law, there is no problem, anyone who violates that law is not and cannot be a "life-long loyal member".

There are tens of millions here already. How much easier do we need to make it? A hundred million? Five hundred million? If you legalize it, that means that some will still be excluded, and they'll enter illegally. All you'll have done is admit a (legal) flood tide of unskilled, poor, and ill-educated humanity who won't assimilate, will overwhelm our ability to provide for them, and you'll still have those present who are living on the fringes of society, just as they are now.
