I want to get to 170. I want to get to 32 in waist. I want to be lean and mean. I am trying to turn up the intensity of my work out a little, getting into serious abs burning workout. I appreciate this chance to chat with others about it. I am really thinking cheese may be getting in the way of induction benefits for me. And redi whip.
I am not fat. No one in my office thinks I am fat. But as I get older, I just want to push myself to stay as close to tip top as I can get.

One more thing... If you overwork out, your body tends to hold on to its weight. I'm not saying that you are doing that... but be careful not to overdo it.

Maybe it'll help if instead of weight, you make a body measurement your goal. I'm talking about (say) waist size or clothing size, 'cause I know you deves are out there. ;)
I have "marker" outfits for each size. When I can get into my hot-pink miniskirt, I know I'm a 10. The black velvet Marilyn Monroe means I've hit 8. And the silver glitter cocktail dress signifies a 6.
Clothing size is for me a more consistent (and heartening) measure than poundage. After all, if I turn my surplus 30 pounds into muscle, I'll probably lose 10 net - but I'll have gone down three sizes.
