How does a lesbian activist who is the former President of NOW become labelled as a "conservative"? To the liberals if she disagrees with their agenda she must be a bad conservative.
BTW I think she was merely the head of a local NOW group.

Her role in NOW isn't as important as what her opinions are and how the media is characterizing it.
If the media mischaracterizes Ms. Bruce as a "conservative", how does that square with the work that people like Michelle Malkin and Ann Coulter compare?
The reality is that the best example of conservative thought is Peggy Noonan and not Malkin/Coulter/Bruce/etc.
Noonan is a terrific and well-spoken individual.
Her choice vocabulary is a matter of tremendous power and she uses it effectively without sounding as shrill as Coulter.
Still, I enjoyed watching Coulter go cat fight with Katie Couric on NBC.
But, Tammy Bruce?
She is NO conservative... unless she now disavows her prior stances. Has she?
