BTW...John Ashcroft may--nominally--be the one who will actually issue the Indictments necessary to hold Terry McAuliffe accountable for the many crimes he has committed in the name of Bill Clinton and the Democratic National Committee; however, it is obviously President George W. Bush who'll have the final say as to if--and when--this eventuality occurs. I voted for Dubyuh and believe he's done an admirable job in office to date. Still, if he fails to unleash the Powers of Justice upon those who committed rampant crimes in the previous Administration, IMHO, his will go down in history as a failed Presidency for allowing unprecedented Executive Branch Corruption to go unpunished. What a tragedy that would be.

So before all you blindered BushBackers go attackin' me fer undermining a President of whom I think quite highly, please consider how you will defend Dubyuh's inaction in '04 were Ashcroft to fail to do what we all know in our hearts must be done with respect to the Felons of the previous Administration...

I don't know for sure yet. I'm in the Christmas show (actually "winter show" for the pc folks). Those will be on 12/27 and 12/28. I haven't heard what the tickets will cost but if anyone is interested, let me know via Freepmail.

I may skate during the halftime at one of the hockey games. That is still to be determined. I'll let you know if that materializes. It's kind of a daunting thing for me to consider. But it might be fun.

Courtesy of the Republican House of Representatives' Class of '94...however, aside from some structural changes and the dramatically-successful Welform Reform, much of the Contract With America remains unenacted into law to this day. The new Contract with America should include legislative items like CommonSense Tort Reform, Capital Gains Tax Cuts, Social Security Reform (including Privatization Options), and increased use of Medical Savings Accounts. I can also see us adding in elements pertaining to giving judicial appointments fair hearings and up-or-down votes in front of the whole Senate.

The biggest thing, though, is to make sure the document is bicameral, as the Senate's unwillingness to get on board in '94 led to the gridlock that skewered much of the original Contract. If we can get both Houses of Congress to pledge their support to a healthy domestic agenda for Dubyuh's Second Term, I can foresee us attracting a significant portion of disaffected conservatives back into the fold, resulting in a Landslide Victory fer Dubyuh and the GOP in November 2004!!
