The news has not been good from Iraq of late. The recent Ramadan bombings and Sunday's tragic downing of a Chinook helicopter is further evidence that remnants of Saddam Hussein's regime and Islamist radicals are still an effective guerilla force. Yet we mustn't let the steady drip, drip, drip of bad news from Iraq keep us from fulfilling the obligations we have assumed there.

Rot. The media don't distort the news to increase circulation. They distort the news because they are pimps for the left. In fact they are obviously willing to screw up their bottom lines to pimp for the left. It's not about money, it's about ideology.
1. "Nation Building" is folly.
2. The Iraquis will never love us; forget hearts and minds.
3. We have other high-priority targets.
4. "Boots on the ground" is folly for a hollowed-out military which is an open target for guerilla psy-war.
5. We had a reason for busting up the place; what then is our reason for installing them a state-of-the-art cell phone system??
6. We owe them nothing.
