Sadly, I have read that there is a group in Atlanta pushing to have the carving at Stone Mountain removed.

The guy would have a heart attack if he went into the restaurant there. The waitresses are dressed up like slaves (though some are white and some black) and our waitress there was a black lady with a nametag that said "Muffin." In this day and age, I'm amazed the stuff at Stone Mountain has lasted so long.
