I have the gray also. I used it just yesterday to fix a rag to a mop handle so I could attack an out of reach spider web.

I tried to tear off a piece without getting fingerprints on both pieces. I couldn't do it. Hopefully his prints are on both!

Duct tape is really sticky and if I heard correctly, even if it had been immersed in water for a long period of time they could still lift a print off it.

I use pre cut strips of the stuff to seal duct pipe in close quartered areas where it's not possible to rotate the whole roll around the pipe. These strips always pick up dust, insulation, sawdust, etc. and are difficult to handle. It's very possible some particles from the location of where the duct tape was applied to Laci's body are still present on the tape. If those particles match particles or fibers in SP's truck, house, warehouse...Bingo.
