At the end of the day it sounds like the place to be is the bar at the Doubletree in Modesto, per KTSE. Many media types, (such as GVS), hang out after court, (looking for unnamed sources???).

Rita Crosby just said that the defense is going to say that Lacie used the pliers to put charms on her wine glasses to know which one is hers. Anyone buying it?

And who exactly will take the stand to say that, Snott?? I think not.
I just got done reading last night's LKL show. I find it odd that Dr. Lee can go on that show and basically give opinion/testimony. If he is going to be an expert witness for the defense in the trial, doesn't the gag apply to him as well??

OMG - That is the lamest excuse I have ever heard. If you read the LKL transcript you will notice that all of the Prosecutor types are sure the hair DNA is coming in. It is used all the time. That guy the Defense got hurt their case, he was a total nerd and was certainly not up to that kind of testimony. Like someone above said, he's not even a forensic person at all, he's a Biology teacher. Pathetic.

Did you see in the transcripts that MG's expert has not even performend this kind of DNA test, ever??? Jeannie Pirro (sp?) says this witness will simply come across as a hired gun.
I thought of you and chuckled every time I read what Lee had to say last night..his accent comes across, even in the writen words.(you transcribe him much better tho!) ;o)

http://www.ktvu.com/news/2610164/detail.html Short Day At Peterson Preliminary Trial
POSTED: 10:49 AM PST November 4, 2003
MODESTO, Calif. -- With lead defense attorney Mark Geragos back in Los Angeles attending to another trial, there was a short day scheduled Tuesday for the Scott Peterson preliminary hearing with the first Modesto detective to arrive at the Peterson home on Christmas Eve -- the day Laci Peterson disappeared -- taking the stand.
Detective Jon Evers was cross-examined by defense lawyer Kirk McAllister over what he observed when he arrived at the Peterson home along with two other officers that fateful evening.
Evers told the court he saw a mop and bucket, but on cross-examination admitted that he did not see any water on the kitchen floor nor smell the scent of any cleaning fluid in the air. He also said he heard Peterson talking about his fishing trip with the other officers, but Stanislaus County Superior Court Judge Al Girolami would not allow that testimony to be entered into evidence saying it was hearsay.
The court broke for lunch with Giolami saying that he would discuss the contents of nine sealed envelopes when court re-adjourned.

"Our house contains duct tape rolls that are black, silver, green, white, and purple."Would these not be called "electrical tape"?
I know black tape is usually called "electrical tape".
