I remember when threads in support of Linda Tripp would crash FR. Now, they never get beyond one page worth of responses.

I wish I could say that her place in history and contributions to truth in government haven't been forgotten by Freepers, but I can't. It's a shame.

Isn't it nice to live in a Republic, and think that it is run by people who believe in limited government?

Back in the day, we were flommoxed by the lawlessness in the WH, and forced to wonder if we would even have a peaceful succession. And had the American equivalent of a coup attempt, in the Gore "recount FL until I win" lawsuit.

I for one contributed to LT's defense fund, and I'm glad she has been compensated . . . tho not exactly a princely sum. Rodney King got far more, and he was the lawbreaker in the case.

I too pine for the days when FR was more about what unites us than what divides us. Not that I want the twisted one and his shrew back in office mind you.

Linda Tripp deserves much more. She has my eternal gratitude.
