I think as long as you cancel and tell them the reason why -- preferably do it in a letter, because the dumb people answering the phones probably wouldn't write it down, eventually someone would start to pay attention.
I can't cancel it, because I don't subscribe to it in the first place.
I think letter to the Viacom CEO telling him that we will boycott all businesses owned by Viacom would be effective.
They didn't have an e-mail address for him on the website though, but they must have a physical location, where one can send regular mail.

Target the sponsers, AS WELL as the companies they own. But emails should go to sponsors first.
Mention family, friends, organizations you're a member of...an average person can reasonably count 150 people they know, and can enlist to start declining products and services from sponsors...
