Thank you very much for the ping, Miss Marple. Regarding OldFriend's post #8 on this thread, I believe it came out recently that Wilson signed onto the Kerry campaign months ago — in fact, sometime in the Spring, probably not coincidentally around the same time he, Pincus and others began turning up the heat on this story. At this point, only the most unreasonable or uninformed people will fail to recognize Wilson's story for the purely partisan-motivated hit piece it is.

What troubles me most these days is not Wilson and his story. His over-the-top performance on this story has killed his credibility with everyone except Leftist audiences. I'm not even concerned about the "leak" investigation. What concerns me is the fact that these sorts of antics are giving aid and comfort to our enemies. I genuinely believe the constant naysaying, negativity and undermining of President Bush is causing the terrorists and Baathist hangers-on in Iraq to continue their attacks in the hope they can outlast the Bush presidency.

I nearly had a heart attack when I heard Carvile stating that our troops will be pulled out of Iraq in April.

This is the most disgraceful behaviour.
