A Letter from Ambassador Joe Wilson (Barf Warning)
Email (John Kerry) | Joe Wilson

Posted on 11/03/2003 6:26:17 PM PST by listenhillary

A Letter from Ambassador Joe Wilson:

Dear Friend,

In February 2002, George W. Bush's Administration sent me to Africa to investigate claims that Saddam Hussein was seeking to buy materials for weapons of mass destruction. In early March, I provided a detailed briefing to the C.I.A; I concluded that Iraq had most likely not tried to buy uranium in Niger. We know the rest of the story.

The Bush White House tried to intimidate me and to discourage others from exposing the lies they told to justify the war. Some senior people in the Bush administration betrayed our country by exposing my wife's cover at the CIA because they deemed their political agenda to be more important than our national security. Not so. George Bush's Administration has betrayed our trust – I know that personally. And I hope you'll join me in supporting John Kerry's campaign to wrest our democracy back from those who have so squandered the public trust. This is our cause - and it's about our future.

I wasn't ready to keep quiet when this President misled the nation in his State of the Union Address. Some people have said I was courageous to speak truth to the power of the Bush White House.

But let me tell you, what I have done doesn't hold a candle to the courage that John Kerry showed as a young man and throughout his political career. I am supporting him for President because he has shown the courage to do what's right. And I hope that everyone else who is outraged by this Administration and who wants to change America will join me in doing all you can to make John Kerry our next President.

I'm supporting John Kerry for President, and I hope you'll join me in that support. For us to take back the White House, we need to raise funds.

PLEASE DONATE NOW AND PUT JOHN KERRY IN THE WHITE HOUSE NEXT NOVEMBER.

John volunteered to serve in Vietnam, where he earned a Silver Star, a Bronze Star, and three Purple Hearts. And when he came home as a decorated hero, he didn't have to fight the war. But John helped lead the fight to end the war; he earned the wrath of Richard Nixon and his cronies, and he won the respect of Americans for his courage. Throughout his career in public service he has shown the courage to stand up to special interests and to hold government accountable.

It's almost Election Day. One year from now, we can elect a new President. Only John Kerry has the courage and credibility to be that President, and we need your support to get there.

I hope you will join us- it's never been more important.

Warm Regards,

Joe Wilson

Anybody that has followed this story knows that his very first sentence is a lie.....

"In February 2002, George W. Bush's Administration sent me to Africa to investigate claims that Saddam Hussein was seeking to buy materials for weapons of mass destruction. In early March,"

Joe Wilson was sent to Niger without the knowledge of CIA Director George Tenet. We also know that he was most likely sent by a Clinton holdover by the name of Alan Foley who has since left the CIA for personal reason's he claims, but Mr. Foley has made the talk show rounds condemning President Bush. We also know that Wilson's Wife (Valerie Plame) worked for Alan Foley.

This guy Joseph Wilson is now a schill for the Kerry campaign and if you look at Joe Wilson's letter endorsing John Kerry, you will find out that he said he started working for John Kerry 6 months ago, That would have him working for John Kerry before his imfamnous OPED in the NYT's

There my friends is the real scandal.... Joe Wilson is a fraud, I've said it since day one and I say it again today.... Joe Wilson is a fraud

Bush will not have to expose them, their lies are doing it for him. The Democrats called for an investigation and they're gonna get one, What they forget is that all the committee's are Chaired by Republicans and will set the tone of the investigation

If you read the NYT's OPED he published, you will see that he wasn't sent there to find anything out, he was sent there to say he was sent there by the "Bush Administration" it was a smear job from the start and Alan Foley and Valerie Plame are the players in this smear job and Terry McAuliffe, (Clinton's Puppet) and James Carville are the Architects of this whole thing

Oh, so that was Joe's reason for a bad report. So that he and the dems can take the White House back. Oh, I am soooo shocked. Who would have guessed.

Thank you for the ping.

I'm waiting to read a letter of support from the soldier whose war medals Kerry threw over the White House fence. :-P

Can't you just see the planning schedule they put together last spring to get Joe Wilson's name out to the public, then figure when the best time would be to release this letter???? lol

Rush was right about the ability to amuse by out-of-power dems!

It's possible that the Wilson-Plame affair was designed to divert attention from the documents seized in Baghdad which are said to implicate a number of people/countries in illicit deals with Iraq. I'm hoping that DoD has the original copies of these documents just in case there are individuals in the CIA or State Dept that might accidentally lose track of them. Here is an earlier thread on the document find:

Nope, hillary and Bill have been doing their best to make sure George W. Bush gets re-elected. At every turn they have undermined the dem candidates, and that's not because they are paving the way for Hillary in '04, they are making sure Hillary will not face an incumbant in '08.

My opinion is that democrats are in far more trouble than Bill and Hillary think. In the past few years the democrats have become the party of sore losers and the obstructionist party. They have NOTHING to offer but vitriolic attacks on the President and his policies, but the only thing they have offered as an alternative to Bush is .....

1) Reverse the Bush Tax Cuts (ask Walter Mondale or George McGovern how that strategy worked for them)
2) Let the U.N. decide our foriegn policy... (Far from the leadership we need right now)
3) 7 of the Naive 9 either voted againt the emergency spending bill supporting the troops and the reconstruction of Iraq (How can they justify their decision?)

You describe option #2, imo. (These two scenarios will seesaw for a couple more months until the filing deadlines for '04 pass.)

Will the dems stay stupid enough for four more years to give her a shot in '08, or will they get tired of losing and just finally freeze out the Clintons after (another) big loss in '04?

We're dancing around the # of angel on the head of pin, lol, but I think we both agree Hillary is unqualified and unsuitable to get within 40 miles of the Oval Office again. :-)
