my Italian, American friend, Emilia, who's been here for twenty years and finally got dual citizenship a few years ago...still thinks of herself as Italian. Anyway, she's very critical of how America does anything. I get the 'want to know why you're hated by Europe?' nonsense from her from time to time. She was in a swivet the other day because of the horrendous influx of illegals into Italy. This is a scourge, according to her. The millions we have to deal with here, well, that's all our fault. She thinks we should put troops on the borders. It may come to that if it were proven that terrorists crossed from Mexico and then proceeded to blow up half of L.A.. Did I read somewhere on F.R. that eighty percent of the Mexican population had already moved north? I believe it.

I've heard the estimates of more than 5 million illegals already being inside Italy. Some pessimists say even more. I've been told of Chinese woman coming for the third time in a single year to give birth in hospital (i.e. 3 chinese ladies using the same I.D. )
