I respectfully disagree. Biological evolution has ocurred without the help of war for billions of years. Humans probably aren't any smarter than they were a few thousand years ago when the first wars started. It's our technology that's improved. And if a civilization lasts for millions of years, a war-like era will probably only take up a brief period of that time.
Biological yes, but human evolution is something very different. It has developed very fast during the last 10,000 years, far too fast to be explained by ordinary evolution.
Most technologies are first developed for war including the computer you're typing on and the internet you are connected to. Our brains are far too developed for any other natural purpose other than to make war. What happened to the Neaderthals is they were killed off in war. They were not as smart as the other humans. If it wasn't for war modifying the gene pool they would still be here, collecting welfare and voting for Democrats.
You may not like it but you are the living descendant of the winning warriors. You are deadly and a killer to the bone. Would you really have moral trouble plugging an Iraqi terrorist? I know I wouldn't lose any sleep over it. We're natural born killers. More than anything human means war maker.
Biological evolution is war...among species, for survival. All we have done is accelerated the pace...for machines, not meat.
