The US is investigating weapons procurement networks and agents of influence who took money from Saddam Hussein's regime after the CIA reportedly seized an extensive cache of files from the former Iraqi Intelligence Service.
The files contain "almost as much as the Stasi files", said one American official, referring to the vast archives of the former East German intelligence service seized after the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989...
The recipients of the Iraqi funds were described by US officials not as formal intelligence agents, but as prominent personalities and political figures who accepted money from Iraq as they defended Saddam Hussein publicly or pressed his causes...

"I suspect the RATS will not be happy with these developments"
I agree .. and I believe there will be French, Russian and German people who will be the same ones who went to the UN and tried TO DISCREDIT OUR PRESIDENT!! And .. it will prove our President was right not to be in league with these people.

"It will take time to digest this pile of documents because not many of the US Military in Iraq reads French. I believe that Chirac's mistress recently moved and so her old address might mislead. Each of the children that she and Chirac have are on Saddam's, let's call it, "contacts" list and were paid directly. It will probably be best not to mention any of this to the Enchfray!"
Any web sources on this?

We already knew cnn was compromised.
It should be enlightening to see what other unbiased media outlets were/are still on the payroll...

I think Ritter was paid in little girls, and Arnett in little boys, during their trips to Bagdad.

ANSWER and its affiliated organizations sponsored numerous presentations by, and symposiums with, the Iraqi ambassador to the UN.
This activity dates back to pre-9/11. Nor was the relationship severed prior to the attack on Iraq.
There can be little doubt that the WWP and its bastard children, ANSWER and Not In My Name, were on Saddam's payroll.

This will be news for a while and then it will get quiet. Those whose names appear will be co-opted for our ends. Over the next year or so we will hear of various persons committing suicide, or having deadly car accidents, etc.
This is the type of stuff an intelligence service dreams of.

This aught to be fun!
President Bush is not a man I would want to play games against.I have a few gripes on a couple of domestic policy issues, but none on foreign policy.
I think this may simmer for a few months, so I wont pop the popcorn just yet. But I sure will sit back and enjoy the show when it hits the fan!
