Every time my building supply house hires a new guy I ask him for a roll of "goose" tape. They always end up asking one of the managers about it. The manager will then bring the new salesman back to ask me what I'm talking about. With a straight face and acting a bit agitated I'll tell him that I need some duct tape and I don't have time to fool around and I have people waiting on the job. The manager will then pretend to read the guy the riot act. "DUCT tape not DUCK tape and how in the hell did you come up with GOOSE tape." Been doing it for years.
