Wrong response.

"US Bombs suspected guerilla stronghold, nothing left but glassy surface"

is what it should read.

The wrong response was not to fly Chinooks in daylight anymore. That is a concession to the terrorists. We need to own the air day and night.

By not flying the heavies during the daytime and only at night (when their heat signature is more prominent) and not taking punitive action against the area, we are showing no resolve and encouraging more attacks because the terrorists see no concsequences.
