Any shelter for battered husbands would have to be full of real men, because it would take one to be beaten on by a shrewish wife and not turn and pulverize her!

I think he quit baseball because he was washed up. Maybe but perhaps you havent seen St. Louis Cardinal pitching... he was still one of our better pitchers when he retired. That isnt saying much for the others. Cardinals have to score eight runs to have a chance to win most games!
