The most memorable thing is the scariest...my three day convoy to northern Iraq...as far as the Iraqis I haven't interacted with them that much, especially at the base I am at...the few I have met seem genuinely happy that the US is there.

There are occasional rocket and mortar attacks directed at the base and once in a while they get lucky and hit something, they are finally starting to decrease.Thank you for the reports, and the service. You know we're here for you all.
