Drugs do cause victims. My sister's grandchildren are victimized all the time by her druggie son and daughter-in-law.
You are in extreme denial about the reality of what this drug does. It robs one of ambition, and distorts perception, and harms unborn children, as well as harming the care of living children. It also causes reckless behavior that kills and maims other people.
And finally it and other drugs destroy society by decreasing the number of people who remain responsible enough to continue to support the success of that society in maintaining itself.
1. Sweeping generalization. Not every drug grower or distributor murders people, any more than every black man rapes white women. Same zebra, different stripe: blind bigotry. 2. People who grow their own don't support any murderers at all - but policies that you favor scare a lot of people away from doing this, because it's too risky. Hence, the blood of the murdered is on your hands. 3. The fact that growing is ex-legal means growers can't seek legal remedies against those who would steal or damage their crops - hence, only extralegal protections are available to them, such as deadly force. Again, the blood of their victims are on your hands.

The same can be said of alcohol and tobacco. Shall we return to the Prohibition, based on this evidence? Rock climbing and boating also cause fatalities and serious injuries that disrupt or destroy families. Ban them?

And you are in extreme denial about the reality of what harms drug prohibition brings:
It robs one of ambition, and distorts perception, and harms unborn children, as well as harming the care of living children. Such as also happens to prisoners in jail for nonviolent drug crimes?
It also causes reckless behavior that kills and maims other people. Tell that to the victims of wrong-address no-knock raids, speaking of reckless behavior caused by prohibition.
And finally it and other drugs destroy society by decreasing the number of people who remain responsible enough to continue to support the success of that society in maintaining itself. You mean like the people in jail, formerly productive and contributing to society, but now forced to while away years of their life doing nothing, or making license plates? The waste of their lives is all yours. I hope you enjoy it, because I don't and they don't.
a.) Do you support reinstating alcohol prohibition?
b.)Do you feel that the conservative view is to protect individual rights or societal rights?
